Information Resource Management (IRM)
To ensure that your people are equipped with the necessary decision support tools along with cross-discipline collaborative resources, ActiveScience eases creation and distribution of role-specific groupings of documents and applications.
The two important tiers of Active Science are:
- business-rules based access assignments, where individuals and groups are delivered information (required and enhancing) based on their roles
- stakeholder controlled publications (text, images, dynamic signal) through co-active conduits
These are refined through access and resource requirement considerations:
- Roles: a set of tasks, responsibilites, and positional relationships for an individual. Roles determine the collection of content and job critical business tools necessary for an individual to optimally perform a job.
- Content Pull/Push: new information, news, or KIT (key intelligence topics) are forwarded appropriate users.
- Collaboration: set of tools enabling cross-functional and organizational communication and sharing.
- Control: identify object owners, and permission levels.
- Unified Data Objects: data from internal sources and external vendors seamlessly combined for providing data mining and warehousing capabilities.
